Growing up in Chicago, Cameron performed in a variety of plays and musicals and soon became hooked on music, performance, and directing.

In the fall of 2010, Cameron moved to Des Moines, Iowa to earn his BFA in Musical Theatre from Drake University, where he received extensive theatre training--both in performance and directing from excellent faculty and staff.  He has been fortunate enough to attend master classes and lectures with Twyla Tharpe, Mike McGowan, Jeremy Rich, Diavolo Dance Theater and Cherry Jones amongst others.

In 2014, Cameron accepted a position at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, Tennessee as an Associate Company member, where he was nominated for two Ostrander awards for his performances in One Man, Two Guvnors  and Tribes.

In July of 2015, Cameron moved to Minneapolis to begin his  journey with the theatre and on-camera work of the Twin Cities.  He has had the pleasure of working with The Guthrie Theater, Frank Theatre,  Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Sidekick Theatre, and Umbrella Collective.

He continues to freelance and work for companies all over the US.
